NEW YORK, NEW YORK
Monday morning at 7:00am, I begin my flight to New York City, where I will begin my new career as a Merchandiser for Tommy. While most times in my life the prospect of heading to this great city would bring a hearty happy smile, I must confess a very melancholy feeling about it. Not one of worry, but one of the unknown.

It's pretty much an impossible thing to visit NYC and not see the Twin Towers. Personally, I've stood at the base a couple times in my life. As I did, I looked up in amazment that such a grand idea existed. I'm certain I'll have renewed feelings about the whole thing...as I guess is normal. Seeing on TV is one thing...seeing the real deal is quite another. Especially when you know where it's supposed to be.

NEW JOB
Yes, as stated above, the Mattster finally has a job.

It's been a whopping 8 1/2 months since I was last employed and I must confess, quite frankly.....IT'S BEEN FUN! Talk about your major vacation situation. I've been in my present garb for so long, the blades of grass are starting to chafe me. That's right....it's time to shed this grass skirt, 'cause Hut Boy's back to work.

Can't begin to tell you how great that feels, not to mention I feel I've lucked in to the dream scenario. The kind of job I was hoping to land with one of THE major manufacturers in the business! As they say in hockey.....'SCORE'!!!!!!

Well, gotta run cause I gotta pack so....

Take care and God Bless
Matt
