Now in our fifth calendar year
"Hate Groups in America." When you hear this sentence what does it bring to mind? The Ku Klux Klan or the Neo-Nazi movement of America or the nation of Islam? Whatever it brings to mind, the fact is, America is a breeding ground for many hate groups. In a country of so many races and beliefs there are bound to be people who just don't get along.
It starts when the youth of today or tomorrow are forced to listen and be cross-culture friendly, then along the way the children end up loosing their cultural identity. It happens all the time. Often these kids are approached by role models or other teenagers who take them to a meeting of one of these groups and the kid is made to feel at home; they show them the side of a culture who is oppressed and is fighting for identity...just like that kid is. And we all know teenagers are willing to fight for any cause, so in the eyes of these groups that makes them the perfect foot soldiers. It should not be that way. It is aggravated if the members' children attend schools where there are low numbers of white children and high numbers of minorities.
I hate to say it, but believe it or not, it does not just happen here in America. I read an article about it happening in Russia--the last place you would expect the Neo-Nazi movement to take foot. But the world is becoming an UN-friendly place. It's been like this since the civil rights movement and now with the contrivers of gay marriages it will only get worse and as long as racial guilt exists and the need for black history month and other minority race holidays are held, it will give them fuel.
How could it be ended? By focusing on American history...ALL of American history, not skipping around in the text book like many counties make schools do. Teaching them only major parts of events like the Revolutionary War the Civil War and Civil Rights, without much background or alternate viewpoints is not teaching.
Hopefully someone out there understands what I am trying to say by writing this article.
