Couch Potato Confessions by Vinnie B.
A sardonic commentary on America’s favorite pastime.

TV shows I’d like to See
Death Factor: This hour long reality show pits 4 washed up celebrities against each other as they compete in death defying stunts. The last one left alive at the end of the show gets their own sit-com on “must see TV”.

The Gary Coleman Show: Move over Oprah and Dr. Phil, America’s latest self-help talk show host, Gary Coleman, is about to hit the air in this syndicated series. Watch as the trailer trash audience chants, “Gary!, Gary!”.

Really Extreme Makeover: Beautiful young people compete for money and prizes to see who can get the most extreme New Primitive tattoos and piercings. Home viewers get to call in to vote for their favorite.

Yugi Oh My God!: Bad Japanese animation show that is really just an excuse to merchandise toys, books and trading cards to children. (Whoops, this one already exists!)

Joan of Melrose Place: Shannon Dougherty stars as an aspiring teen(!) actress in Hollywood, who is visited by God, who helps her get acting roles, as well as gets her into the casting couch.

Gay Acres: Tony Danza returns to prime-time as a prominent N.Y. lawyer who tires of the city life and moves to small town Hooterville with his Swedish live-in boyfriend played by Paul Reiser in this update of the classic TV series “Green Acres”. Guest stars Rush Limbaugh as Mr. Haney and Gary Coleman as Mr. Zeifel (in a role originally cast for Ed Varney).

Transvestite Junction: In this spin off of Gay Acres, three gay actors, Billi-Jo, Bobbi-Jo, and Joe, follow their NY pals to Hooterville, giving a whole new meaning to word Hooterville.
