Hey Gang: At The Movies The next movie is one that is a no brainer: LOTR, The Return Of The King. What can I say besides "WOW!!!!!!!!!" This movie was great despite its length. Everything is brought together for the grand finale. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone in case they haven't seen it yet. Let me just tell you that I truly enjoyed this movie and think it was very well done. Again I give this one a full 4 Screams on the Creature Scale.
If you haven't seen either one of these cinematic gems there is lots of time to do so during the coming holidays. Go see them and take the family. You'll be glad you did.
In closing.... C-Ya next year!
Boy, things got real weird around the castle over the last couple weeks. I always thought the boiling water was dumped from the top of the walls onto those seeking entrance, not the other way around. Oh well.
Anyway, I've been real busy the last couple weeks and having the home computer down doesn't help any. Still we live and persevere.
I have been lucky enough to catch two movies over the last week and they were both excellent. Can anyone guess what they are. Well I'll tell you anyway seeing as how it wouldn't take much guessing to figure out what I would go see. First up was The Last Samurai. I wasn't sure I wanted to see it but now that I've gone I'm glad I did. Though long the story is well structured and moves forward at a nice, easy pace. It never bogs itself down very long at any point and stays on target. Some of the fight scenes are phenomonal and well choreographed. I liked the movie and give it a full 4 SCREAMS on the Creature Scale.
Alas, X-mas is over and the denizens within the castle walls are reminding me that New Year's is around the corner, so that's it for this week. I want to wish to wish my fellow PCR Contributors and all you faithful readers (all 5 of you) a great, fantastic, and phenomonal holiday. Eat lots of good food, gather with friends, family and watch lots of movies.
