'Twas the night before Christmas and at PCR
all the writers would scurry to not be subpar
As Nolan awaited each article written
And read with the glee of a school boy just smitten
The ones who will read us and offer a laugh
To strange things aplenty and maybe a gaff
Retractions galore as we enter the season
In hopes one and all will feel they're a-pleasin'
The trees in our homes are of Uletide ilk
With offers for Santa of cookies and milk
Hoping the gifts that we happily open
Don't leave us confused and hopelessly mopin'
Remembering friends both new and old
With stories galore that are yet to be told
Of bonds that won't break regardless of strife
And happy those friends are involved in my life
So here at the cusp of this holiday time
Call family and friends and spend more than a dime
And spread with the joy of a childish cheer
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!!!
Take care, and God bless,
Matthew
