Crazed Fanboy and Masters of Horror are uniting this hallowed October season to hold the first annual Halloween Monster Mayhem Contest.

The idea sprang from a conversation with Nolan and myself as I expounded on my desire to do something this year for kids. After bantering around a few ideas, we've come up with what we think is a great idea with a chance to win the last three issues of the premier monster magazine today, Monsters From The Vault, that I spoke to in my last Rail. There will also be two runner-ups that will win a copy of the current issue.

Terms of the contest can be found on the contest page, and yes -- there is an age restriction of 8 - 15. If you are too young or old to enter the contest, please feel free to submit a story anyway, with your age, as they may be published on my Masters of Horror website.

Many thanks to Nolan for being a great springboard for ideas, and especially to Jim Clatterbaugh of MFTV for his support and incredible generosity regarding this contest.

If you're entering......GOOD LUCK!!!! Nolan and I are pulling for you.

Yes, that's right. That's the question.

It has to be asked at this point in time, due to a litany of things.

It must be asked because, as Commander-in-Chief, it is his primary responsibility to ensure the safety of the citizens of the United States of America, and when questioned about his desire to torture "suspects" and how he would be putting our own captured troops at risk, he arrogantly proclaimed that if his idea wasn't passed, he would put a stop to ALL interrogation and NONE would be performed. Meaning that he would ensure we would NOT FIND OUT any information that would possibly protect this country against attack..by his order.

It must be asked because we now have the 9-11 report that contradicts damn near everything Bush and his brethren of bubbleheads have been smearing on the news. Especially that Bush did absolutely NOTHING when told of Bin Ladens plan to fly planes into a skyscraper in the US. When asked about this, the liar known and Condi Rice said that the 9-11 report didn't say that. And that is EXACTLY what it said. And make no mistake, in case you are fighting this truth that is real and true today, this has been going on from the beginning of this administration.

To be sure, this isn't the first time we've been lied to. Heck, you'd be hard pressed to not find something throughout our history. But from the Godly and pure administration of love promised us, I expect a tad more.

Then of course there is Iraq, which I'm now convinced Bush won't pull out of not because he thinks he's right, but because he refuses to acknowledge he is wrong. It doesn't take a great leader to understand he can be wrong. Just a good one. Too bad for us.

As a Republican, I am ashamed again and again how my party twists the truth, blatantly lies, tries to confuse the issue, denies accountability, and asserts blame on those who do not deserve it.

Finally, it must be asked because Bush and his administration on contradiction and confusion do so under the banner of truth. Knowing full well they are liars at play. And they feed their deceipt and aggressive scummery to the few who are still standing at the troph, waiting to be fed by the Godly party.

Oh, the shame they should be feeling.

But there is no shame.

Only more lies.

If there was ever a time a sitting President deserved to be impeached, it is now.

Till next time, take care and God bless,
