A Tampa cab driver, Tim Fasano, who's also a customer at the 7-Eleven where I work, felt I was worth a story, and honored me with an entry on his online blog site. Do check it out, it was really cool of him.
Mel, Mel, Mel...
Mel Gibson's quite the rage these days, what with his anti-Semitic drunken rants and everything, eh? "It was just the booze talking" has pretty much fallen on deaf ears as it appears no one in America is buying that. Mel has exposed a serious personal weakness that will likely cost him, despite any "therapy" he may endure to mollify his critics.
The Return of Matt's Rail!
PCR writer Matt Drinnenberg, missing from these pages for several months, unexpecedly turned in a "Rail" column late this week! Not sure what's going on there, but, hey, welcome back, amigo!!
The Joker's Wild
By now most film fans have heard that Brokeback Mountain actor, Heath Ledger, has been cast as the new Joker in the upcoming Batman Begins sequel, The Dark Knight. Although rather full-faced for a role I'd think would go to a thinner, lankier actor, Ledger certainly has the acting chops to go up against Christian Bale.

Michael Moore has been repeartedly attacked for what are called "factual inaccuracies" by the far right. After a re-examination, the worst thing I could find is he perhaps stretched the definition of "documentary"...
