I'M A RAMBLIN' GUY
Yours truly received a call from the chamber of commerce the other day and I learned the most excellent news that I will be performing this year at BayFest, a longtime annual festival in these parts taking place at the end of July.

Will also be taking my rock and roll show to the Riverfestival in Orland this fourth of July weekend.

Lovin big time that the season is here, and I'll be enjoying it in the most excellent way. Yes, folks. The Mattster is Primed, pumped, and ready to Rock.

Like Steve-o used to say:

R.A.M.B.L.I.N. apostrophe! Ramblin'

THE BOYS IN GREEN ARE BACK
I know I don't have the 'sports column', but being a long time devout Boston Celtics fan, I must state for the record that love is in the air. and it is the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics are presently 2-0 in the second round of the playoffs, due to spanking, severely, last years Eastern Conference Champs Cleveland.

Understand my blood is green, and has been for some 40 decades now. Not just a Larry Bird fan, but also John Havlecheck fan. Yep, way back. Perhaps why I have been so long suffering watching my beloved beantown boys get demolished year after year.

Until this year, that is, when Danny Ainge inherited the soul of Red Aurbach and made the trade for the ages, immediately turning a nowhere loser into a real threat to compete for the title.

It sure is good being green.

A NEW HORRORHEAD FRED
Visitors to my Masters of Horror site have been run across, at one time or another, their host, Horrorhead Fred.

Originally, Fred was created rather simply on a bitmap. I have used the bitmap versions all these years because I really thought they came out pretty good, considering they were really just doodles. But a new day has arrived, transitionally speaking.

In Horrorhead Freds Fiendish Fun, Fred gets his first makeover. Am in the process of working on some others to guide visitors thru the pages, but it's going to take some time due to my music responsibilities.

Next time you drop by the site, be sure to say 'Hi' to Fred.

Till next time, take care and God bless
