Gators Lose In The Swamp! WTF???? Overtime Thriller Week 4 NFL Picks Sports Talk was short and late this week because I am having computer problems and I apologize. I hope to be back to the norm next week, and thank you for reading this weeks Sports Talk.
The #4 team in the nation lost to the Ole Miss Rebels by a blocked extra point. This must hurt the Gators bad as Ole Miss was an unranked team and walked into the Swamp and beat Florida. You could say that Ole Miss won the game just because of the blocked kick but the Rebels stayed with Tim Tebow and the Gators all game, and the Gators had three and some change minutes left to hold Ole Miss to a three-and-out and take over posession of the ball and quickly score a field goal. That didn't happen so expect Ole Miss to be in the BCS ranks now and we wait to see what rank they have fallen to. Florida won't be out of the title game (that goes to the #1 and #2 teams)just yet because this college football season looks like it'll be as crazy as last year.
In one of the best NFL games that I have seen in a while, the Bucs defeated the Bears in overtime last Sunday. Bucs QB Brian Greise started rusty in throwing 3 interceptions but he came back to lead the Bucs to victory. Throwing 67 pass attempts and not getting sacked once is something special, but don't expect to see that again for a while.

Coming off of a loss to the Cowboys the Packers come into Tampa to take on the Bucs who are off of an emotional win. Like I said before, quarterbacks that are new to their team don't usually play well against Tampa, especially at RJ. Look for the Bucs in this one, but it should be a tight game.

Eagles QB Donovan McNabb will be returing to his hometown in Chicago to face the Bears defense who lost to the Bucs last week. In the Bucs-Bears game the Bucs offense had the Bears defense begging for a break as Jon Gruden hit them with a no-huddle offense late in the game leaving the Bears D kneeling on the field between plays trying to catch a breath between plays. Hopefully for the Bears, Coach Lovie Smith gave them a few days off because now they are going to have to chase Donovan McNabb up and down the field. Good Luck Chicago. I pick the Eagles

Unstoppable Tony Romo and the 4-0 Cowboys will face their division foes the Washington Redskins but if there is any team that knows Romo best, it's the Skins. Look for the 'Skins to hand the 'Boys their first loss this year.
SF 13 NO 28
San Fran is an up and coming team after many years of "rebuilding" but are no match for the Saints, offensively or defensively. My pick: Saints
ATL 21 CAR 28
Atlanta looks hot and cold this year, and so do the Panthers. This game is a NFC South rivalry and should be a good game, I expect a turnover to be the deciding factor in this one and the game should go to the Panthers. But if the Falcons do win this game, they will be a serious contender in the NFC South. My pick: Panthers
BUF 30 STL 12
ATTENTION: Hell has frozen over! The Bills are undefeated so far this year and they will play the dismal St. Louis Rams, -you know that funky team that can't ever seem to win a game and has a $60 Million dollar quaterback sitting on the bench?- With a new starting QB I don't expect the Rams to do too much to the high-flying Bills. Go Bills.

Kurt Warner vs. Brett Favre. Two QB's that left their most glorious stomping grounds and found new teams. Warner is playing well and so is Favre, but I think the Jets will come away with this one in a sloppy game. My Pick: J! E! T! S! Jets Jets Jets!
