WINTER FREEZE
I suppose if you live in Florida right about now, you are thinking it's a bit nippy outside. But if you lived in the Northeast as I do, you would understand all to well that what you are really experienceing is a tropical fluxation. For you see, until you stand outside, face blinded by the wind, eyes engulfed by wind driven snow, with a wind chill of -16, you really don't know what 'nippy' is all about.

Just this past weekend, we were once again smacked by a blizzard. This coming weekend, we have snow from Friday thru Monday. It just doesnt seem to end. As for the local weathermen, they are saying this is one of the most brutal winters ever recorded. Well, since stats went official in the 1800's.

You know, it kind of makes me wonder. All this strange weather, happening AFTER Bush got elected (not selected, as the first term)! Hmmmmmmmmmm.

WOE IS ME, I HAVE THE BUSH FLU
And if all this bitter, or 'nippy', weather wasnt enough, I believe I'm on the verge of a full blown flu. It isn't like this hasn't already intruded upon my happy health once this year, now it looks like it's going for the double wammy.

Boy, I sure am glad that when Bush was admised of the impending, unavoidable critical flu vaccine shortage in 2001 by the GAO, he sat on his hands and did nothing.

Of course, in fairness, I don't know what he could do since the issue comes down to lack of vaccine by way of flu shots for children and the elderly, a bill presented by, i believe, Hillary Clinton, causing the supply to be depleted. I think caps were also placed on the drug companies which ended up making it a losing proposition financially.

Oh well, if I have to be sick, at least it can be for a good cause.

CLINT LIKE FLINT
My boy Clint doesnt rush anything. Let alone his craft. And if he did rush Million Dollar Baby, he may want to consider rushing everything else he does...because it is sheer brilliance. 'nough said.

Till next time, take care and God bless
Matthew
